Nice weather in Tel-Aviv today. We took care of the things we needed done for the Bar Mitzvah, (while the kids lost it every once in a while)

and then went on to Givatayim to visit Saba and Savta as planned. Of course such a visit is never complete without the requisite "kreplach and farfel" session, as the picture can attest to.

Dani had some quality time with Saba, and off we went back to Jerusalem.

Once again when dinner-time came, we had to split-off. The girls went and had pizza, the boys (who knew better) headed straight for "Joy's" on Emek Refayim for some sirloin steak topped with goose-liver. This is the sort of dish that separates the boys from the "real" men. I am proud to say that Dani distinguished himself remarkably.

This blog is slowly turning into a kosher culinary guide to Israel (incidentally, at Burger's Bar, go for the 300 gr spicy beef burger topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, chimichurri, pesto and garlic mayo...you won't regret it). We could call it "The Kosher Guide to Clogging Up Your Arteries in Israel While Enjoying Every Bite".

I'll try blogging again at least once before Rosh-Hashana.
